(1) We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the storage medium of your end device, for example on a hard drive, and through which we, as the body that sets the cookie, receive certain information. Cookies cannot execute programs or transmit viruses to your end device. This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functionality of which are explained below.

(2) Cookies that are stored associated with your web browser:

  • Transient cookies: These cookies are automatically deleted when you close your web browser. These include, in particular, session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, which can be used to assign various requests from your web browser to the joint session. This makes it possible to recognise your terminal device when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted as soon as you log out or close the web browser.
  • Persistent cookies: These cookies are automatically deleted after a predefined period of time, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete these cookies at any time in the settings of your web browser.

If you have an account, we use the cookies to identify you for subsequent visits. This prevents you from having to log in again each time you visit our website. The data processed by cookies that are required to provide the functions of our website are not used to create user profiles. Where cookies are used for analysis purposes, they are used to improve the quality and user-friendliness of our website, its content and functions. They enable us to track how the website, which functions and how often they are used. This enables us to continuously optimize our offer.

(4) Our legitimate interest in data processing lies in the above purposes. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO.

(5) The above cookies are stored on your terminal device and transmitted from it to our server. You can therefore configure the processing of data and information by cookies yourself. You can make appropriate configurations in the settings of your web browser, through which you can, for example, reject third-party cookies or cookies altogether. In this context, we would like to point out that you may then not be able to use all functions of our website properly. Otherwise, the legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO, in particular in the event that the data is transmitted to us by you by sending us an e-mail. Insofar as you want to work towards the conclusion of a contract through your e-mail, Art. 6 (1) (b) DSGVO represents an additional legal basis.

(7) Subject to legal retention periods, the data will be deleted as soon as we have finally processed your request. (5) The data you enter in the input mask during registration will be processed for the purpose of addressing you personally. After your confirmation, we store your e-mail address in order to be able to send you the newsletter. We store the respective IP address and the times of registration and confirmation in order to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify a possible misuse of your personal data. The links contained in the newsletter also contain this ID. This data is only collected pseudonymously. The individual ID is not linked with your other personal data, so that a direct personal reference is excluded.

You can object to this evaluation of your user behaviour at any time by clicking on the separate link contained in every newsletter e-mail. Furthermore, you can prevent the aforementioned evaluation of your user behaviour if you have deactivated the display of images in your e-mail program by default. Please note that in this case the newsletter will not be displayed in full and you may not be able to use all the functions of the newsletter. We use "DoubleClick" on our website, an online marketing tool of Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). DoubleClick uses, among other things, cookies, i.e. small text files that are stored locally in the cache of your web browser on your terminal device. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of DoubleClick. To the best of our knowledge, Google receives the information that you have called up the relevant part of our website or clicked on one of our advertisements. XVII Google Ads

We use "Google Ads" (formerly Google AdWords) on our website, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). Google Ads enables us to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising media on external websites. This enables us to determine how successful individual advertising measures are. These advertising media are delivered by Google via so-called "AdServers". We use so-called AdServer cookies for this purpose, through which certain parameters for measuring success, such as display of the ads or clicks by users, can be measured. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Ads will store a cookie on your PC. These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days. They are not intended to identify you personally. The following information is usually stored as analysis values for this cookie: unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions), opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be addressed). These cookies allow Google to recognize your web browser. If a user visits certain pages of an Ads customer's website and the cookie stored on their computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. A different cookie is assigned to each Ads customer. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across Ads customers' websites. We ourselves do not collect or process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. Based on these evaluations, we can see which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising tools, in particular we cannot identify the users on the basis of this information. Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google's server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of Google Ads. To the best of our knowledge, Google receives the information that you have called up the relevant part of our website or clicked on one of our ads. If you have a user account with Google and are registered, Google can assign the visit to your user account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that Google will obtain and store your IP address.

We use Google Ads for marketing and optimization purposes, in particular to serve relevant and interesting ads to you, to improve campaign performance reports and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs. This is also our legitimate interest in the processing of the above data by the third-party provider. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f) DSGVO.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by deleting existing cookies and deactivating the storage of cookies in the settings of your web browser. We point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of our website in full. The information generated by the cookie about the use of our website is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored there. If anonymisation of the IP address to be transmitted by the cookie is activated on the website ("IP anonymisation"), your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server outside the EU and shortened there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. In doing so, pseudonymous usage profiles can be created from the processed data. The IP address transmitted when using Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.

We use Google Analytics only with the previously described activated IP anonymization. This means that your IP address is only processed by Google in abbreviated form. A personal reference can thus be excluded.

We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website and to continuously improve individual functions and offers as well as the user experience. Through the statistical evaluation of user behavior, we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a) DSGVO (consent).
